About the recording and the action:
Regin Smiður was recorded in Jomsborg Viking Festival 1.-3. august 2003 and includes some liveshots from concerts. In the video, Týr are performing together with vikings from the Festival. In the first scenes, Týr are welcomed at the high table of noble chieftains from Germany. The fight scenes are from the festivals live performance, great battles between vikings and slavs at Jomsborg. The fight-scenes where Heri is included is performed by the vikinggroups Kruki and Wataha . The artwork of Ingólfur Júlíusson is nothing short of fabulous. He has captured the true viking spirit.

The song:
Thor, the God of Thunder, rides across the sky, lightning is ravaging the earth and the heavens. In Midgaard summer turns to winter. By the fire the tales of the brave warriors that have journeyd to Valhalla, are told. Winther covers Midgaard - man awaits, sacrificing to the God of Thunder, longing for the return of the sun to Midgaard.

About the recording and the action:
The video is recorded on the Faroe Islands - Though the western winds ravage the cliffs, they still rise steeply from the sea to the sky. The air shots are taken from an Atlantic Airways helicopter over Tindholm and Trælanípu (legend has it, that from these cliffs were thrown slaves, no longer of use to their masters). The cameraman is hanging out of the helicopters door, getting great shots.

The singer arrives, carrying a beer-barrel from Føroya Bjór. He drops the barrel to ground, and against all common sense, it jumps up from the ground... because it was empty. This scene had to be taken several times, until gravity lost interest and left the barrel on the ground.

In the oldest Kingsfarm Roykstovan, the others are sitting, waiting. When the singer brings the barrel, the mood changes. This scene was a bit tricky, because the Týr - members don't live in the same dimensions, and cannot be expectet to travel in mere 4 orderly dimensions - translated: they have difficulty in telling time and place, with the result, that no 5 members where ever on the scene at the same time - you may notice, that the singer and one of the guitarist are never in the same picture.

Subsequently one of the guitarist goes off and plays a solo. The others drink out and follow the guitarist, except for the singer, who has to catch his boat back to Suðoroy and therefore, he is not in the last picture. The singer never return from Suðuroy - the line - up is now, as in the last picture, and the guitarist with the guitar is now the lead singer.
